Fast Start or not?

Although I encode all my QT clips using the Export command in QT Player, and make sure that Fast Start is always selected under "Prepare for Internet Streaming," the clips behave inconsistently when the page that embeds them is loaded in various browsers. E.g., in Firefox Windows, with the current QT Plug-in, for some clips I don't see the frame and controller until the whole clip is downloaded, and then the entire playbar is dark. With other clips (of the same data rate and similar duration), created by the same method from the same QT Player 7.1, I see the frame right away and can watch the playbar darken as the mov file is downloaded. (I clear the browser's cache first in any case.)

What tool can I use to see if the required information is indeed in the header and the mov file is ready for progressive download?

What can I do to make sure all my clips are really "fast start"?

Here's an example: http://collt.no-ip.org:8080/komm/mov_lg/E-GdePapaZhil-2-HallKitchen.mov

The mov was created with Fast Start selected, yet when the page is loaded, I see the Q symbol until the entire clip is downloaded.

Thanks for any tips!

Slava
