OT: Adobe Reader 6.0 splash screen

It is off-topic, but the Adobe Reader 6.0 splash screen displays for awhile on my Macintosh OS X on G4/ 450, and it has a cool effect. It is the usual rectangle, but there's a transparent swirl out over the desktop. I've seen skins with transparency and of course icons, but can't remember seeing one that displays temporarily while the application is loading. The "About Adobe Reader" has the same effect.
