Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way, but if you want the movie
background to match the surrounding wall wouldn't you want it to be black;
so in concept no extra light from the projector is being projected onto the
background therefore it should seamlessly match with the ambient light
hitting the surrounding wall. So having said this the edge of your movie
skin should be something other than black.
