This is a simple and more general question, but I ask it with a need to
exhibit QTVR panorama and object movies with Full Screen Mode.
QuickTime Pro (6.3) always provides a black background when displaying
movies in Full Screen Mode. I need to display movies full screen, but with a
white background.
I am skinning the movies and projecting them on a large white wall, so the
black background becomes a secondary rectangular and undesirable form of
framing. I prefer the skinned movie shape directly against the white wall
background.
The other size options (Half-Size, Normal, Double Size) do not hide the
computer desktop environment as does Full Screen.
I can re-render movies with a full screen-sized white background, but file
size increases. Or, I can place the movies in Director or other environment
and use a projector. But it would be great and much simpler if I could just
tell QT Pro to display a white background in Full Screen Mode.
Thanks!
