Re: Domestic Coolpix remote cord

Hi Ignacio,

Here an example of remote shooter cable "home made" for Coolpix 950...
http://christian.kerihuel.free.fr/Numeriscopages/num2/techno/declench.htm
I think that the system can be adapted to other Coolpix.
Good luck !

Gilles

Hi all,
I would like to know the way for make myself a domestic "remote
shooter cable" for the Nikon Coolpix.
I have diferents Coolpix cameras (5000, 5400 and 5700). All this models
has a DIGITAL I/O (an exclusive 8 pin conector).
Normally I use this conexion for to download the photos to computer but
too is for to conect the optional Nikon accesorie "Wired remote cable
MC-EU1 remoter cord".
This original remote cord is a little bit expensive and have many
differents controls (zoom, exposure, mode... and shoot)...
But I only need the shoot function.

Someone to know the combination of this 8 pin conector for the soot of
the camera?

Thank you very much

Ignacio
