Re: from fisheye to multirow stitching

I am discovering so many problems to solve fisheye based cubics that I question myself if it wasn't better to start using multirow stitching with RealViz, and my 17-35mm Nikon rectilinear lens (26-50 in D1).

I have no experience in multi-row stitching but I think it is a question of time (levelling, amount of images, post-processing time), money (needed software and equipment) and environment (travelling weight, are tripods possible/allowed).

Personally I like to keep it simple and therefore prefer the fisheye method and have invested into the Sigma 8mm lately to achieve a better quality.

As long as you only need it for the web, the quality of fisheye panoramas should be sufficient.
