Sorry my simplistic question but I would like to have your opinions about this issue: multirow cubics using rectilinear lens (RealViz), versus circular fisheye cubics ( Panotools etc)

How many of you have tried both, and which one was chosen for web virtual tours jobs.

I am discovering so many problems to solve fisheye based cubics that I question myself if it wasn't better to start using multirow stitching with RealViz, and my 17-35mm Nikon rectilinear lens (26-50 in D1).
