my client wants to know if there is a way a can create a VR with a hot
spot in it, that is connected to a still image, and the still image
comes up.... but it does not FILL the frame, but is smaller and is on
top of the VR which is in the background.
I have used Cubic Connector software quite successfully to bring up a
still that is FULL frame, but my client wants it to be smaller than the
VR frame. My current VR window I have created for him is 668 tall and
1024 wide, but he wants the still photo that comes up... when clicking
the hotspot.... to be no bigger than 400 wide by 250 tall.
Is this possible? I don't think Cubic Connector is going to allow me to
do this because I have tried. Is there anything else out there that
WILL allow me to do this?
My client is only using Quicktime Player, and it is for flight students
to use on their computer, no internet is involved, therefore, no
internet browser. but if there is a solution using a browser, I suppose
we might have to look at the possibility of using one.
one more question:
when the full frame still IS in the window, and I want to go BACK to
the VR tour, I click the "back" button, but it takes 2 full seconds to
go back to the VR tour. Is this because the file is so big? it is 7mb
in size. How can I make it faster? My computer, his computer, and his
students computers are all fast computers, with plenty of RAM. the
panning is smooth. But that lag is tortuously too long of a wait.
