I use it with my CoolPix 950. You will have to correct for the barrel distortion you will get with this lens.

I use PanoTools to try to correct as much distortion as I am able to do and use QTVRAS for stitching. I tried the demo version of VR Worx but found out the it's stitcher is much more sensitive to barrel distortion than QTVRAS's.
I also tried PT Mac which is a great program but IMHO nothing can beat QTVRAS for cylindrical panoramas.

P.S.: My correction values for PanoTools (radial correction) are d=1.025, b=-0.025. If anybody has better values, please tell me.
