Thanks for the advice that has been given previously, I am narrowing
down the possible options for my VR kit.
My application is mountain top 360 degree panoramas in the snow.
I will probably be using a standard 35mm SLR film camera, and I would
like to use the camera in the landscape orientation.
There seems to be a number of currently available panoramic heads
that will suit my uses, as listed here...
Manfrotto 320plus
Kaidan Kiwi+ and QPLB-1 Landscape Bracket
Kaidan QuickPan III Pro with Rotator Configuration
Jasper Engineering Pano Head 2
Peace River Studios 3Sixty Panoramic Camera Mount
Does anyone have any opinions on these pano heads, reasons to buy (or
not to buy) particular models, other models not mentioned here that I
should consider, etc.?
What are the useful number of increments/detents to have on the pano
mount, for those mounts which require the purchase of extra detent
rings to have different increments?
