For those who are just trying out car panos for fun and are on a low budget
my magic arm spherical pano rig could work sideways if you bring a boom in
the car. I know it could hold up sideways to most digicams, but not sure
about DSLRS (horizontal not a problem).

On a subject somewhat related to panos in cars I have a 360OneVR and on my
next trip I plan on mounting this in my car using magic arm and a clamp and
snapping of panos every few minutes for a few hours, around dusk. I9ll have
to trick my F717 into staying on with a power cord and manually snap photos
with remote release as there is no time lapse. I9m not sure you what I will
do with exposure, as I don9t think manual will work, maybe aperture priority
letting shutter adjust. I9ll have aperture priority set at 8 so when dark
with iso 100 maybe will get some nice light trails. Once I get hold of
PhotoWarp 2.0 which has batch processing I could then turn this into a wide
linear movie, or maybe some for of video pano down the road. I hope I don9t
get pulled over, cops would give this setup some strange looks, although
unlike with my wide fisheye video below I9ll have the camera setup inside
the car,not out the sunroof. Even if I left the protective case on for the
mirror, the think would be bouncing all over the place at 70MPH, besides
inside might be a nice perspective having some static objects throughout the
scene.

By the way I9m glad the censoring issue was resolve. Another reason other
than sever side problems for posts not showing up is if you send them from
the wrong email. I do that at times as I use a secondary address for my
lists but sometimes attempt to send posts from my main email which is not on
the list and won9t go through.
