We have been using a very expensive digital camera to shoot our virtual
tours. Just wondering about bringing on a second camera to keep up with the
demand and to expand our services. Colour depth is very important to us but
it is no where in our budget to spend $10,000 on a second camera. We have
been using RealViz Stitcher to produce our current VR tours
(http://www.applevrtours.com) Stitcher does some amazing still life tours
but we are looking at expanding into action tours without the blurring that
occurs between stitched images.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience shooting action VR tours with an
SLR camera as opposed to a digital. Like I mentioned we are looking to
obtain high quality colour depth at a reasonable price. What is there out
there that will allow us to take one shot and cover the full 360
environment?
