On Thursday May 8th of 2003 I was invited, by an undisclosed source,
into the Pentagon to shoot a never seen before tour of the September
11th memorial to those lost inside the Pentagon. We entered the
pentagon at 10:00 pm to shoot these unique scenes of the memorial after
hours.
Since that date I have been waiting for an approval for these images to
be shown to the public. It has not been possible because the IT
department at the Pentagon does not allow QT-5 or 6 to be used on the
network... and therefore the people in charge cannot approve this tour.
They cannot see it. They cannot approve it. They cannot comment on
it.
I am taking a chance on this... Without further delay... While the
Pentagon figures out while it is worthwhile to allow QuickTime to run
inside the pentagon I humbly submit these QTVR images to the public:
Please keep in mind these are real civilians and real military lives
that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our way of life. If you click on
the door in the main hallway you can see the memorial chapel that
features a stain glass seal in memory of September 11th that was hand
crafted by the family members of those lost.
The decision to share these images is not taken lightly. I offer them
with the highest level of respect to the families and loved ones who
have paid the ultimate sacrifice to all Americans.
Sincerely,
