8mm lens

Hi, have somebody used the russian 8mm pelleng with regular NIKON film
camera to do QTVR ? what about image quality in comparation of expensives
8mm ones

i think use it with velvia 50 asa  film and drum scan the slides  at hi res
....)
i shall use as a lower def and cheaper way (and less wheight ) to my actual
6x6 body and
30mm fish eye and pano head and heavy tripod

because i shall travel a lot , and other opyion is too heavy !
