OK, at that link where they demonstrated the D10 + sigma 8mm, at

they have ONE pano that I would consider to be reasonably sharp at
fullscreen.
It is the sheldoniansq.mov pano, and it is 2.4 MB.
So, this is more in line with what I would have expected in terms of
what the D10 + Sigma 8mm is capable of showing
The other panos - I would not consider them to be all that sharp, but then
they are also much smaller files.
Speaking of sharpening - there is a new sharpening plugin that just came out
called FocalBlade at http://thepluginsite.com/products/photowiz/
It looks pretty good. Better sharpening algorithms always could help when
you
need to sharpen a fisheye image. It seems to work best when you remove image
noise with NeatImage first, then use FocalBlade.
