QTVR Make Panorama 2?

I'm seeing some really strange results in using QTVR Make Panorama 2 made
movies with LiveStage Profession 4.1.

About a quarter of the panorama never gets rendered properly (the wire frame
is just shown).  I'm wondering, does QTVR Make Panorama 2 make outdated
panoramas?  Is there a better tool out there (preferably free) that can take
a panorama that's been edited in PhotoShop and create a cylindrical QTVR?
