he might be right. cross platform also includes other platforms than Mac
and Win, such as Linux and other UNIX machines.
I personally think PTViewer and QTVR are perfect together: big panos for
broadband users via QTVR, small panos via PTViewer for those who still
have a modem / isdn connection and refuse to download/install (needs
admin rights on Win!) extra QT software.
btw. DELL and HP announced to ship their PCs with SUN's JVM. I only know
of SONY to ship their PCs with QT installed.
