Re: VR viewing options

I agree with director but Flash, no. Until somebody develops an easy and reliable flash viewer that corrects the distortion than Flash is off the list. I don't classify moving an image left and right as a virtual tour. It's more of a movable slideshow and anybody selling these as virtual tours are kidding themselves.

You are looking for just VR panoramic viewing? If so:
You should consider Flash, and Director since they both are main stream.

Other 3D/VR viewing options are also:
-Viewpoint
-Virtools
-Parallel graphics' VRML plugin for web browser

Just my two cents,

Hi,

I'm putting together a table that compares the benefits of the various viewing options at the moment I am including:

	1. QuickTime
	2. Java (PTViewer) and
	3. Ipix

Are there any other main stream viewing technologies that should be included in this comparison ?

Thanks
