Hi there,
I've got a small problem with a couple of QTVR multi-node panoramas I've
made recently. I made them in QTVRAS 1.01, in Classic mode, running OS X
10.2.6 & Quicktime 6.2.
Here's one of the files I've had problems with:
<http://www.ardes.com/test/dosbarbaras.mov>
First of all, this movie has two panoramas stitched together: one a full
panorama of an archaeological site, and then one partial panorama, showing
the excavation pit. On the second (partial) panorama, if you select 'show
hotspots', you can see where the hotspots are located: one for each of the
two Mayan burial spots, one for the tomb, one identifying the archaeologist
in charge, and finally a hotspot that brings you back to the main panorama.
If you are using Quicktime 6.02--in OS X 10.1.5 or 10.2.6--if you mouse over
the hotspots in the second panorama, they work perfectly. But if you're
using Quicktime 6.2 in OS X 10.2.6--the hotspots shift considerably, so that
the blobs are activated rather above & to the right of where they should be
activated. Also, the hotspot that brings you back to the main panorama is
shifted--even though the hotspot is shown in the appropriate place.
Has anyone come across this bug before? Is this an isolated occurrence? I
hope someone can shed some light on this...
PS I've just discovered that there's a 6.3 update for Quicktime--but what
about this older version? Will this cause a problem for my clients?
Best,
Ray
