I am trying learn to use PTMac and Defish. Honestly, sometimes I am
just mystified by the parameters I should use. I am trying to learn to
make panos using full-frame fisheyes with either of two approaches:
using PTMac or defishing them with Defish to stitch using QTVRAS. I am
using six horizontal shots in FE2 mode. Is there anyone out there who
would share their choice of setting for these programs with me? They
really are not what I would guess, especially in Defish. Particularly,
I do not know what the FOV (vertical and horizontal) when shooting a
FFFE in portrait mode (i.e. with the picture "tall" to capture the
highest amount vertically.) Any help or pointing to tutorials would be
appreciated. I asked part of this question before and someone guided
me on FOV, but I think they assumed I was shooting landscape.
