YO, isn't more memory an act that speeds up stitching?

GOOD DAY ALL,
After reading the '2GB BAD NEWS FROM MATTHEW', my upcoming G5 purchase
is now leaving uncertainties. I have spoken with both the Apple Store and the 'memorable'
people from RAMjet. I plan a purchase of a 2GHz G5 with 512MB DDR 400 SDRAM(2x256)
and purchase a 4GB DDR400 SDRAM(4x1GB) from RAMjet. Are you now 'popping my
bubble'. I was hoping the 4.512 GB SDRAM in this projected G5 purchase would make
stitching quick like 'drawing a warm knife through butter' and now you infer that my logic
is working 'backwards' with the G5. "Tell me it ain't so!" Your input, as always, is greatly
appreciated!!!
