load the equirectangular image to PTGui. Tell the ptgui the input file is
equirectangular, FoV 360 degrees, and then create a equirecangular output
image of any size you want.
When donwsampling panorama tools must use wrap around information, whilst
Photoshop and other programs will probably use repition at edges.
(thinking about it, you could probably just use the PTools plugin in
photoshop to do it - just as easy)

What's funny is that I did this to several other vr's and had no
