| Most people probably wont' know or care about this, but while scanning through photos on my 5g ipod one rotation of the click wheel used to scroll through 45 images, it now scrolls through about 30 images. The significance of this for me is that I setup a number of QTVR2mov exports to show panos on my ipod. 45 images per export was just right so that the user had precise control of which way to look by where they turned the dial. If I want to re-create this I'd have to re-export these but it would also become more jerky needing just 30 frames vs. 45 frames. Still no change on ability to loop while scanning images. As a result you run into a wall after one spin around. Maybe soon to be announced widescreen touch screen wireless ipod will have better support for QTVR content (even if exported to linear). -- David Goldwasser Inertia, LLC ph: 901.526.4562 fx: 877.873.2331 |
