Are any of you using or know of a site that is using Flash to run VR images?
I have a client that would like to run them this way...

I have a small Flash cubic VR example on my website using the no longer available "cubicvr popforge" Flash 9 player:

<http:///4020.net/vr/#flash>

It works fine, but only for low-quality and small player sizes. When you try to ramp it up with bigger cube-faces, it slows to a crawl without any image quality improvement.

It's good enough for thumbnails or teasers though.

BTW I saw a similar thing on the PTools mailing list this morning. Same kind of quality issues, but maybe good enough for your needs.
