RE: VR in Flash

It has been an interesting discussion. I can see benefits in using Flash,
but the CPU intensive redraw technique in Flash causes the image to be
jerky. Lets hope with the new versions of Flash that come in the future
that they will offer huge improvements on processor management!

For now I think I will keep with my fav - DevalVR and Quick Time. Apple's
decision to bundle Quick Time and i-tunes together was genius and has done
wonders for QT penetration. Plus I think Quick Time now comes with most new
PCs.

I have a friend who says he would like for flash to allow embedded activex
controls like director, so the QTVR can be slotted straight in communicated
with at runtime using A.S 2.0

Cheers,

Pete
