I liked the Rideau Canal Skateway, looks fun! The Museum looks like it
could be good to, though it's a shame that in the video that the views are
so zoomed out. It looks very distorted. Also it would be nice to see a
slightly larger video clip, I can't read the writing on them. Though this
maybe because I'm running my screen at 1600.
How long did it take to produce these CD Roms ? I wouldn't mind a good look
at them some time.

In partnership with the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau,
Quebec, we have just published an interactive virtual tour CD-ROM of
the Canada Hall. It is one of the largest exhibits of Canadian
history in the country and draws over 500,000 visitors annually.

The video was created by capturing segments of a user's interactive
session.
Several aspects of this product may be of interest to members of this
list:
- The virtual tour is created using QuickTime VR technology and Live
Stage Pro.
- It uses an "inband" exploration & discovery paradigm loosely
inspired by the Myst series of interactive games.
- The tour features an hour of historical video vignettes embedded
into 27 cubic VR panoramic nodes.
- Multiple sound tracks, a full screen display and a minimalist
custom skin are used to create a highly immersive experience.
