RE: Can Anyone Help

Thanks, I'll pass it on. Though I don't think that the web designer is
getting paid to change stuff on that site, so I doubt anything will happen.
I think he made the frame of the site and has passed it on to the Airport,
and they have to pay for any updates. But you never know, it's worth a go.

Hi Pete,
Saturday I've sent you a message which has not delivered
because I'm having trouble sending posts to the QTVR list.
In that message I explained how to heal the page, so that
it can be displayed correctly by Firefox.
I'm writing from another address, waiting for the problem with the list
to be solved..
Here is my message:

The page does not work in Firefox because the web guy
has declared at the top of the page a transitional xhtml DOCTYPE.
xhtml, among other things, does not support the way the comments were done
here:
http://www.exeter-airport.co.uk/site/1/Concourse_360_view.html

So some page content appears to be hidden (ie commented) by Firefox!

Once corrected, the page will be displayed properly by Firefox.

For more information on xhtml commenting, check here:
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/HTML:The_Importance_of_Correct_Commenti
ng

Otherwise you can set doctype back to html 4.01 (as it's set for the other
pages of the website) and the page will work.

Anyway, there are other syntax errors, such as not properly nested anchor
tags and not xhtml compliant code syntax.

Cheers,
Hans
