It means you don't have to set the horizon level manually in your
composite pano image as you put it together. If you don't, and if it
isn't pretty much level, then the final pano will be tilted and the
image will shift up and down relative to the apparent horizon point
as people look around the panorama.
If you shoot off the level you'll have to correct this in the
panorama before you render out the final composite image, that's all.
