RE: Advice for a Newbee

Hi Arthur,

I used to take great lengths to make camera level and rotation plane level but now I don’t bother. With PTGui you can easily set vertical and horizontal control lines to automatically level the image.

Good luck

Tudor

Subject: Advice for a Newbee

Hi Folks,

I have been a keen reader of this list for about 18 months and have learnt a lot from the questions and mostly from the answers.

I have a Canon EOS 350D with the kit 18/55 lens, also recently purchased a KingPANO, PTGui for Mac and the Cubic Suite with a view to making cylindrical and eventually go further.

My question is .. How important is it that the Pano head remains perfectly level during rotation ??

TIA & Kind wishes ... Art Weeds
