Hello;
I have been on this list for two years and the information
is great. I am new to VR photography and am an ex software engineer from Sun Microsystems.
I worked 2 years writing a photoviewer, map viewer
and have integrated it with search all java. It is
in beta right now i.e. only 2 of us working on it.
I asking if any VR photographers are interested
in working with us to build a large scale VR space for
Java One this May 2008. I want to show that VR
photography is not Google Street Views. Sun
is looking to give us the space.
I am an o.k. VR photographer. I don't know anything
about sphericals and am not efficient i.e.15 shots
using a Nikon D70 with a 18-70mm zoom lens :-},
manfrotto pan head 3418 QTVR kit(that I sent back for correction ELBOW_Bracket not 90degrees) and a tripod(manfrotto).
So if anyone is interested in participating I can send a doc to you to read. The site will stay up after the
show and each photographer can put as much information about themselves as they want so people will know who shot what including links back to their websites.
The timeframe is short. I need all content by April 2008
Thanks for all the information from this list and
hope to hear from some of you guys. There is some
real talent on this list.
