I do not know about the Nikon mount but min for Canon has the standard switch on the lens.
I use it shaved on my 5D and I never use my Nikkor anymore.


The Tokina is just as sharp as the Nikon 10,5mm if not sharper at the edges at full aperture.
But as always with fisheyes do not trust the focus. Test it and tape it.
It covers close to 185 degrees


The fact that you have one single lens you can use for 3 shots at 10mm with 6800x3400 up to 6+1 shot at 16-17mm with around 12000x6000 resolution is a large benefit.
My favorite setting is 12mm which gives you 8000x4000 with 4 shots.
