Setting Player Preferences

Hi All,

Is there a way to choose the video settings for a QTDrawable through the QTJ
API? Specifically, I have a user that is experiencing performance gains when
editing their video options. They have unchecked disable Direct Draw and
have enabled DCI. The user states that he is experiencing the gains only
through the Quicktime Player and not through my application. This is more of
a witch hunt than anything else, personally I don't like the idea of
changing the settings through the API because performance is going to differ
from video card vendor to vendor. I would just like to gain more information
and insight about the specifics of the video settings so that I may better
address this issue.
