It works fine under MacOS, but under Windows the text is still jagged. I
tried to create a movie with QuickTime Pro and achieved the same results -
QuickTime for Windows doesn't antialias the text at all.

Is it a known bug? Is there some workaround about it?

Yes, I reported this as a problem some months back (#2624801), and it's still marked as Unresolved. It seems to be specific to certain Windows video cards (ATI ones in particular). As far as I know, there is no workaround.
