text channel components

Hi all,

I'm trying to grab closed-caption text out of a video source. I know I
should be using text channel components in the sequence grabber, but the
documentation doesn't seem to cover it in any detail. Has anybody done this,
and can anybody give me a clue as to where to get started? Thanks.
