i'm not aware of any swf encoding capability in QT.
however, you should check out swift-generator, http://swift-tools.com
it's fast command line utility that can easily create flash content via
template files and simple to use scripts.
you could easily plug into it via your java app -- SG currently only
supports jpg and png though,
