yes,
i forgot to tell you that - you can bypass the DebugStr adding phase by
overriding the execute that catches outbound URLs. (mcActionLinkToURL) i
believe is the one. same signature as DebugStr.

IE :

getURL("the string you want to send");

then return false to kill the event. sounds like you figured that out.
either will work- as i said in the first email, there are a number of ways
to wire it.
