QTStreamingApplet Demo query

Hi Everybody

I am just wondering if anybody on the list has any experience working with the QTStreamingApplet demo provided by Apple. I have it converted to an application and i have it connecting to a darwin streaming server. It seems to stream small movie files from the server but larger files don't seem to stream of else freeze after a few frames.

I am wondering am I asking too much from QTFactory.makeDrawable method used in the demo to initaite the stream?....should i use some other classes to get a better connection?.....is this method strong enough to be able handle rtsp requests etc?????

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
