problem with QT for Java on Windows

Hi,

I am new to QT and I am reading "QuickTime for Java A Developers
Notebook" from Oreally. and I am trying out his example for audio
capturing.

The first example is AudioCapturePreview.java. It use sequenceGrabber.
The example has a checkbox which allow one to click on it and audio
will enabled. actually it just set the soundChannel.setVolume(1.0f).
Anyway, after I check the checkbox, I see the volumnMeter jumping,
which means voice is collected. But I can't hear anything.

I am sure the headphone is plug in, 100%.

It looks like my version compatibilty or set up problem.
I am running at the following environment.
1) windows XP.
2) JDK 1.5
3) JMF is also install on the machine. (Don't know if it conflict)

Note: If I play movie or audio file from a QT for java program it works 100%.

I am blind here, Any kindly person can help me and give me some hints??

best regards
Ferdinand Ng
