Irie, Have a question for you. I am using QuickTime’s Progressive Download feature to present downloadable video clips, but when trying to download our clips while using Internet Explorer on a Windows machine, QuickTime pauses the video clip and only plays the video once it’s about half way completed the download. When using Firefox and QuickTime on a Mac, the download works perfectly. The funny thing is both the Mac and Windows machine are on my desk and they both have access to the same amount of bandwidth (3Mbps) and they both have about the same amount of memory. How does one stop or circumvent the progressive download buffering problem in IE? I added the “QTSRCCHOKESPEED” to the Parm and Embed tags, but the problem continues for IE and works perfectly for Firefox on the Mac. Any other clues how to fix this problem IE? <param name ="QTSRCCHOKESPEED" value ="999999"> QTSRCCHOKESPEED="999999" The video clips are encoded for 2500kbps. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your help. Have a wonderful day, Donald Fletcher |
