Does anyone have a good reference or example code of creating a Movie object from scratch? i.e. not reading it from a MOV or MPEG file or some such? I have two specific use cases:

1. Creating a movie from a set of image files (e.g. implementing Open Image Sequence as found in QuickTime Player)

2. Creating a completely algorithmic movie from circles and squares and what not. Such a movie would be useful for testing purposes.

I could probably eventually puzzle this out from the API docs, but I suspect someone's already done it. Can anyone share sample code? QuickTime for Java: A Developer's Notebook mentions synthetic data but only seems to address capturing. I want to create, not just capture.
