Re: accessing audio samples

Thanks for the help.

The question I still have is how do I interpret the audio sample I get back from MediaSample?  In the case I'm looking at at the moment, what I know is:
  • the encoded data is mp4a
  • I have two channels of data (stereo)
  • sampleSize is 16
  • sample rate is 44100
When I grab the data (MediaSample.getBytes()), I get back 612 bytes.  How do I interpret the data?  Is this a quicktime atom, with some structure, just an mp4a packet, or is it raw PCM data, 16 bits per sample, with the channels interleaved, etc.

Thanks,

John
