1) try using one thread
2) also, are you using the player object provided by QTFactory, or are you
just using a Movie and tasking it yourself regularly in order for it to
redraw/interact? Use the Tasking API instead if you don't want to use
QTPlayer etc. that are provided by QTFactory (or that are manually
instantiated)

I am implementing a multithread/multiscreen video player with
Quicktime for Java and Im having some performance problems with the
video playback.
In short we have a machine with 4 video output for playback plus the
regular onboard video output. When trying to play four videos at a
time (wether 4 different videos or the same) the playback is very slow
and jumpy. There is one Player Thread for each video output. I know
there are many variables implied in that process, but I really need a
guide as to where to look first.
