There are some media files ,such as *.mp3,*.avi,*.mpg,*.gif. Now,I want to grab each video frame and audio data from avi.Can i use the QTJ for Java API to implement? Can anybody help? Thanks a lot.

yes you can, using a loop to get the "next interesting time" AVI is a video container, so not all AVIs are supported by QuickTime (depends on installed QuickTime components/codecs)
