Re: programmatically altering export settings (without user interaction via dialog)

Hi Wally

You will have a hard time trying to set the parameters programmaticaly - however you can store your settings (configured through the dialog) in a file and read them back in, which does the same in the end.

you will find a working example here:

Hi all,

The ImportExport sample code shows how to export a movie using a
dialog through which video/audio compression settings can be selected.

In order to prevent user interaction with my app, i'd like to select
these options via my code. So, for example, i'd like to export my
current movie file to a new movie file that has H.261 video
compression with 760x480 dimension and a max data rate of
500Kbytes/sec.

How can I alter these settings via the code? Any guidelines would be
appreciated. Thanks.
