Hi guys,
I'm now using quicktime 7 on my windows 2000 box (had to copy the
QTJava.dll and QTJavaNative.dll to the winnt\system32 folder!!).
Now when i attempt to export i have two scenarios.
1) Open the quicktime player and select the export option (only for
pro users) from the file menu and select 'Movie to 3g', etc.
Everything works fine, the file is exported and audio and video both
work.
2) Create a program which uses the file type 0x33677070 and open a
dialog from the code. This is where the PROBLEM STARTS! in the export
dialog i am able to select video options for 3gpp, 3gpp2, etc, however
all of the audio options have been disabled. They are there but cannot
be selected. Hence restricting the encoding operation to have video
only.
Does anybody have any clue as to why this is? Should i be using a
different file type? Should i be posting this question to apple's tech
support?
I don't see how the quicktime player can support audio when running
from its gui but not when its running from its java api!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
wally
