Re: CallBacks in QTJ

I'd probably start by working out the specifc C API you want first (video bottlenecks? MCAction?) then try to find a way of accessing that from Java if you need to, either via QTJava, or JDirect or JNI if necessary.

You've looked at Movie.setDrawingCompleteProc() and MovieController.setActionFilter()?

I am looking at the QTCallBacks page and see only these four:

class quicktime.std.clocks.ExtremesCallBack
class quicktime.std.clocks.RateCallBack
class quicktime.std.clocks.TimeCallBack
class quicktime.std.clocks.TimeJumpCallBack

as also the Timer class.

Is there a way to set a callback on specific events such as:

1. successfully prerolled and started streaming a movie.
2. successfully stopped playing the current movie
3. closed the current movie and ready to open another.

I can see how to do some of these things in QT-C, but how do you do these things in QTJ?

Thanks!
