Is there an equivalent to GetMovieLoadState in QT-J? Or is there any other way to find out the load status of a Movie?
What is happening is this:
For speed, I download a reference movie for my streaming movies locally. Then I load the local ref movie and make a moviecontroller play it. Four times out of five, everything works fine. The other time, the movie doesnt load, and cannot prepreoll even, and just hangs the program. I see the blue QT wave go from one end of the window to the other forever!
Is this a cache issue? Could I check if the movie is getting loaded or not, and then cancel the current operation and reload everything?
Any fixes for this?
