Re: Computer serial number wrong in ARD after cloning



Could it be that there is something cached in the original image that was cloned? If you force ARD to generate a new report maybe it will help. I cloned all of my machines with SuperDuper and didn't run into this problem.

When I go to the System Profiler, it reports the serial number correctly. Would anyone know how to "reset" the serial number so it appears correctly in ARD2? Thanks in advance.
