Is there a way to install network printers remotely? What I’d like to do is set up the printers on a workstation and then copy those files and settings to other computers on the network.
We currently use AppleTalk to connect to Windows network servers. To set up the printers locally, I’d open the Printer Setup Utility, click Add, click on More Printers..., choose AppleTalk/AppleTalk Network and then navigate to the networked printer and follow the usual steps to choose the driver, etc.
Once this is all done, I’d like to just copy whatever files are necessary to other computers. Anybody know how to accomplish this?
