Any ideas on how I can connect to the internet using a cell phone ? I am
willing to get a new phone since my Motorola V60 is equipped with an

This isn't _quite_ the answer you wanted, but I've been quite happy with the Sprint PCS Merlin C90 card. Strictly speaking, it doesn't connect to the Internet using a cell phone - it _is_ a self-contained digital cell phone system modem. Sprint's coverage isn't quite as good as some of the other providers, but so far I've never been in a spot (including some pretty far out in the boonies places) where I couldn't connect. The connection speed is highly dependent on the local Sprint system. In places where their system is fully digital, I get measured throughput of over 110kbs, but even where it is analog, or hybrid I don't think I've ever seen less than 30kbs.

The initial setup has to be done on a windows machine (or through VPC) but after that, the OS X built-in driver for Sprint PCS Vision is completely transparent.
